Tips and news to support your hearing health.
14 Sept 2022
Earlier this month, Bromley played host to the borough’s first-ever exhibition dedicated to hearing loss, tinnitus, and earwax removal.
The team at Beckenham Hearing organised the day-long Bromley Hearing Show at Langley Park Golf Club and were delighted to see such a strong turnout from the local community.
The event was supported by a variety of hearing-related organisations and was officially opened by Cllr Christine Harris, Deputy Mayor of the London Borough of Bromley. Many attendees took advantage of on-site hearing and ear health checks and enjoyed the opportunity to speak directly with leading audiology experts.
As I shared on the day, “My team and I are so delighted that the event was a real success. The response was beyond what we were expecting, and I lost track of the number of people we spoke to. We felt that by organising something like this, it would allow people to come and find out information without the pressure of going into a clinic room.”
One in six people in the UK experience hearing loss, which equates to more than 51,000 people in the London Borough of Bromley alone.
If you weren’t able to attend the event but would like to learn more about your hearing health, we’d love to see you at Beckenham Hearing. Book a comprehensive hearing assessment today and take the first step towards better hearing and a better quality of life.
